This casual and neon-lit eatery in Tanjong Pagar serves some of the best Tex-Mex in Singapore. Muchachos have mastered the classic trio of build-your-own burritos, tacos and quesadillas. Their flour tortillas are perfectly fluffy, the guac is ultra creamy and the buttermilk fried chicken finger-licking good.
Top menu picks are the California burrito with French fries and carne asada beef, or the Pollo Asado chicken quesadilla with extra cheese. Their breakfast burrito is also a wicked option for brunching in Singapore.

Chimichanga is a funky spot in Little India that models itself as Singapore’s “first Mexican dive bar”. With its cheerful atmosphere, casual vibes and comforting menu, we’ll happily agree with that statement. From beef-battered fish tacos with Sriracha mayo, to marshmallow and Nutella deep-fried chimichangas for dessert, these guys serve indulgent Mexican food at its best.

La Salsa is a chic and stylish restaurant in Dempsey Hill that serves some damn tasty Tex-Mex food. While they do offer some authentic Mexican dishes on the menu, you’d be silly not to order one of their indulgent creamy and cheesy numbers from the North. Whether it’s crunchy chimichangas, saucy enchiladas or hard-shell tacos, you’re in for a feast when dining at La Salsa.
The house speciality at La Salsa is the sizzling fajitas. All come with caramelised onions, a number of condiments and warm flour tortillas. We recommend the signature Wagyu meatballs or marinated tiger prawns.

Their contemporary menu has everything from whole baked poblano chiles with cheese to red snapper burritos with chipotle chilli. When you combine the stellar food with the funky decor and sensational margaritas, you’ve got yourself a great evening out in Singapore.
