Hotpot Heroes, Katong

The team behind this Tanjong Katong Road restaurant in Katong are truly heroes. They whip up some of the very best hotpot around and they do it with a smile. The decor is cool, the portions are huge and the tomato broth is so tasty it keeps us coming back time and time again!

Hai Xian Lao

If hotpot fusion is what you love, Hai Xian Lao is the place for you. Combining different elements from a range of cuisines with spectacular results, the laksa base has to be one of our favourites at this popular Dhoby Ghaut restaurant. What’s more, the seafood offering includes Alaskan king crab, fresh oysters, green mussels and bamboo clams. How could you say no?!

Beauty In The Pot Centrepoint

Beauty In The Pot focuses on the Chinese philosophy of yin and yang, associating itself with balance and good health. One of the reasons we love this Orchard Road spot is because you can choose from over a hundred different items to cook in any of the six soup base options. Spice lovers will be delighted to learn that you can also choose between three levels of spiciness for your soup. Perfect.

Shi Jian Hotpot JCUBE

Shi Jian Hotpot JCUBE really ain’t messing around when it comes to serving steamboats in Singapore. Situated in Jurong East, we strongly advise you to try the mala-style, black chicken herbal and the preserved vegetable when dining at Shi Jian Hotpot JCUBE. Just make sure you order some of the Shi Jian Singapore scallops to really seal the deal. You won’t be disappointed.

Upot

Upot Paya Lebar takes the Singapore hotpot scene up a notch with the conveyor belt hotpot of your dreams. Working on the sushi train model, all you have to do is select your base (we LOVE the Taiwanese herbal pork) and then as fillings you fancy zoom past, just grab them off the conveyor belt. Fun, efficient and totally delicious!

City Hotpot Shabu Shabu

Whether you fancy meat, veggie or seafood, you can be sure that your eyes will widen in disbelief at the amount of choice you have at City Hotpot Shabu Shabu. One of our favourite bases has to be the herbal chicken soup filled with Wagyu beef and crispy pork belly.

BB Hotpot

BB Hotpot Singapore offers a healthier hotpot dining option, with double sided broths bursting with fresh ingredients. Choose from incredible menu items such as the tiger prawn set paired with the collagen cod fish bone soup and you’ll be feeling very smug indeed about your excellent life choices.

Ding Xian Hot Pot

鼎鮮 Ding Xian Hot Pot Singapore offers a dreamy hotpot experience on Temasek Boulevard in Promenade. This excellent eatery stands out from the crowd with some signature hotpot base options you won’t find anywhere else. Get a load of the magma soup which is a spicy white miso base from Japan or go for the Sichuan spicy mala soup made with 28 different spices which will totally knock your socks off.
